WezaHealth is part of the WezaAfrica digital ecosystem. This page explains important limitations that apply to WezaHealth, volunteer physician participation, second-opinion requests, and health-related information submitted through the platform.

1. Not Emergency Care

WezaHealth is not an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency facility immediately.

2. Not a Substitute for Direct Medical Care

WezaHealth does not replace in-person evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, laboratory testing, imaging, or ongoing care from a qualified healthcare provider. Users should consult their own licensed clinician before making medical decisions.

3. Educational Second Opinions

Second opinions or clinical reviews provided through WezaHealth are for informational and educational purposes unless a separate, formal clinical relationship is established under applicable law. Information may be limited by the quality and completeness of records submitted.

4. No Doctor-Patient Relationship by Default

Use of WezaHealth does not automatically create a doctor-patient relationship with WezaAfrica, ADIC, Inc., volunteer physicians, reviewers, or partner clinicians.

5. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for providing accurate information and for following up with their primary healthcare provider or appropriate specialist. Do not delay or disregard professional medical advice because of information received through WezaHealth.

6. Clinician Participation

Volunteer clinicians and medical professionals are responsible for complying with licensing, ethical, professional, and jurisdictional requirements that apply to their participation.
