This Privacy Policy explains how WezaAfrica and ADIC, Inc. collect, use, store, and protect information across the WezaAfrica digital ecosystem, including WezaPulse, WezaHome, WezaHealth, WezaTrade, WezaEarn, WezaMove, WezaLearn, and WezaLove.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the platform or form you use, we may collect:
- Contact information, including name, email address, phone number, and WhatsApp number.
- Professional information, including organization, role, specialty, medical license number, years of experience, and affiliation.
- Housing, career, travel, investment, education, and partnership interest information submitted through forms.
- WezaEarn information, including skills, experience level, availability, portfolio links, LinkedIn profile, mentorship interests, course interests, company skill needs, opportunity details, and readiness or matching signals.
- Health-related information voluntarily submitted through WezaHealth forms or program inquiries.
- Passport, travel, relocation, or mobility-related information submitted through WezaMove features or inquiries.
- News preferences, country interests, category interests, and subscription preferences for WezaPulse.
- Technical information, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referral source, and interaction data.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the WezaAfrica ecosystem.
- Respond to inquiries, waitlist requests, partner submissions, and program applications.
- Send confirmations, updates, newsletters, alerts, and program communications.
- Match users with relevant programs, opportunities, partners, or service categories.
- Recommend WezaLearn preparation pathways and support WezaEarn talent, mentorship, company, and opportunity review workflows.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot platform issues.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and operational obligations.
3. Health and Sensitive Information
Some WezaHealth features may involve health-related or professional medical information. We ask users to submit only information necessary for the requested service or program. WezaHealth is not an emergency service and does not replace direct care from a qualified medical professional.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party providers to operate the platform, including Supabase for backend data storage, Resend for email delivery, Cloudflare for hosting, security, analytics, and Workers, Google/Gemini and Groq for AI-powered processing, and future payment providers such as Stripe and Flutterwave when payment features are introduced.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from spam, abuse, and automated submissions. Turnstile may process limited technical information, such as browser, device, interaction, and network signals, to verify that a submission is made by a human and to protect the security of the platform. Cloudflare processes this information under its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
5. Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly analytics, including Cloudflare Web Analytics, and may use Google Search Console or similar webmaster tools to understand performance, discoverability, and site health.
5A. WezaEarn Readiness and Matching
WezaEarn may use AI-assisted or rules-based tools to suggest preparation pathways, course interests, readiness indicators, or possible opportunity matches. These tools do not guarantee jobs, gigs, hiring outcomes, income, scholarships, or professional advancement.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, platform partners, medical or professional reviewers when relevant to a user-requested program, or authorities when required by law.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the platform, provide requested services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve our ecosystem. You may request deletion of your information subject to lawful retention requirements.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal information by contacting us. You may also unsubscribe from email communications using available unsubscribe options or by contacting us directly.
9. International Users
WezaAfrica serves users across Africa, the United States, and the global diaspora. Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. We take reasonable steps to protect information in line with applicable privacy expectations.
10. Minimum Age
WezaAfrica is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No online platform can guarantee complete security, and users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
